Minnesota appears headed for a state government shutdown, thanks largely to Governor Dayton's single-minded determination to raise taxes on Minnesota's job creators.
In response, Minnesota Majority has announced a "Battle of the Ads" campaign. We have created three alternative advertisements designed to educate the public about our state budget issue. You can decide which ad will be broadcast and how often by making a contribution towards your favorite ad. Contributions will be directly applied to the purchase of air time for the ad to which you contribute. We will tally donations received for each ad so you can see which ad is winning the "Battle of the Ads."
Watch the ads below and then decide which ad deserves your support by clicking on the DONATE button below the ad. Please keep in mind that the average cost of a radio ad ranges from $150 to $500 per ad (depending upon schedule and station). Cable television ads range from $200 to $400 per ad for a single network. Thanks in advance for participating in our "Battle of the Ads" campaign!
Minnesota Majority is a non-profit corporation under section 501 (c)4 of the Internal Revenue Service and donations are therefore not tax-deductible. However, we can accept donations from either individuals or corporations, and there is no public disclosure of our donors.
